Problem, Solution, and Description
Some of the homeless community in the Town of Leesburg do not want to live in a homeless shelter, due to freedom reasons, yet have no shelter or access to amenities. To solve this problem, Brooklyn and I came up with a pod solution. Multiple “pods” will be located around the community that provide shelter from weather, access to water, a bathroom, and a bed. There will be one “pod” per location, and they will be Solar Powered. There will be a need to keep the pod clean, so maintenance of it will generate jobs in the community. Finally, there will be a sign-up key card system available at homeless shelter, so that only homeless people will have access to it.
